APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED
Discedo will be closing soon, and we are no longer accepting applications.

Applications are processed every Saturday. To make sure your application is processed please submit it by 11:59 PM Saturday at the latest. Please check the Taken Characters list and the Reserves page before applying.

  • Currently we accept any canon as long as there is an English translation (fan translations qualify)

  • OCs are not currently accepted

  • Real life figures must be from a scripted canon, not real life (ex. you may not app Thomas Jefferson straight from history, but you may app him from the musical 1776)

  • We accept both Hetalia and Nyotalia characters. The requirement for each is that they have an official design by Himaruya and either one line in a strip or at least two sentences of notes from Himaruya. In Hetalia and Nyotalia apps we're looking for at least one paragraph of the personality section (four sentences) dedicated to canon traits as seen through strips, audio dramas, anime episodes and notes from Himaruya. For characters with sparse information you may extrapolate details from their official design or the situations they're found in in canon.

  • For vocaloids we require at least two major songs to be linked and discussed in the personality section (ex. discussing what side of Luka Megurine's personality Just Be Friends shows). Currently we only accept official vocaloids. We also accept PV vocaloids such as the Of Evil series, but this is a case by case basis, if you're not certain please don't be afraid to ask for clarification on the Suggestion Box page

  • APPLICATION

    First Person Questionnaire
If you wish to fill out a questionnaire for your first person sample, please chose only 5-8 questions from the list below. Pick questions that help reflect your characters personality, while still meeting the 10 sentence requirement.

    IC Information
    Name: Richard Alpert
    Canon: LOST
Timeline: During the episode LAX (Season 6, episode 1) Just after Richard leads Locke and Ben to the statue and before they kill Jacob.

Canon Resource Link: Good Luck <3

    Personality:
As shown in Richard’s flashbacks, he can be very passionate about something he cares about, like in the instance of trying to save his wife; he accidentally kills the doctor who refuses to help him (and his wife dies anyway). Richard also shows this side of him when he believes the Man in Black about Jacob holding his wife’s spirit hostage and tries to kill Jacob in an attempt to free her. Because of these events which led to him being on the island, Richard keeps his emotions in check most of the time so that there wouldn’t be a repeat outburst that could result in someone else’s death. These events also showcase his more determined side as, once he has a goal in mind (saving his wife, killing Jacob, serving Jacob, and, later, stopping the Man in Black from leaving) he doesn’t give up easily until it is achieved. Even after the smoke monster nearly kills him by throwing him into a tree, Richard gets back up and goes right back to trying to blow up the plane.

While I wouldn’t call Richard gullible, he does tend to take things at face-value like when the Man in Black convinced Richard that Jacob was holding Isabella (Richard’s wife) captive, and then later believed Jacob when he told Richard the Man in Black was lying both times with next to zero hesitation. As time goes on, he seems to develop more skepticism and doubt, though there are still aspects of that previous nature that show up from time-to-time. After he joins with Jacob and becomes his intermediary with the people Jacob brings to the island, Richard is shown to be very dedicated to his job and very loyal to Jacob, following his rules and decisions with complete faith (not unlike following a god). This loyalty and dedication extend to the people Richard acts as a leader for (known as the Others in the show) specifically when it comes to possible threats or outside interference. When the Dharma Initiative shows up on the island, Richard enacts a treaty between the two groups to ensure none of his ‘people’ are bothered by those in the initiative and he remains very strict with this treaty up until he breaks it himself with ‘the purge’ or the extermination of the Initiative.

As shown in the interactions Richard has with Locke’s mother, Juliet, and Sawyer, Richard can be very charming when he needs to be and will choose words and tone carefully to get what he needs out of the people he’s talking to. He’s been described as having a ‘silver tongue’ that he puts to use when dealing with, possibly, unfavorable situations or when he needs something. That said, he can also be very straight forward and blunt. When Juliet asked him what he put in a glass of orange juice he asked her to drink, he straight out told her he was drugging her to make transportation to the island easier. Similarly, he told Kate and Sawyer when they brought a young Ben Linus to him to save that, if he saved Ben, he would lose his innocence and no longer be the person he was.

Hand-in-hand with his blunt side is Richard’s sarcasm. He doesn’t use it often, but when he does it’s subtle, almost like an art. He rarely uses it to be mean, only to get his point across and when he’s rushed or aggravated. That said, to most people he seems detached and uncaring as he often keeps his emotions subdued and remains to the point in conversations most of the time. Mainly this ‘detached’ air comes from the fact that he knows he’s going to watch the people around him die. He’s been around for over a century and seen many people age and die leaving him in a position to get hurt if he grows too attached. Unfortunately for him, Richard is very kind-hearted and does care for others especially the people that make up the ‘others’ as he feels responsible for them and their safety. Even the survivors of Oceanic 815 who he met (throughout time) he came to care about just through prolonged exposure, even though he didn’t show it all that openly.

    Powers & Abilities:
Since Richard was ‘touched’ by Jacob when Richard first arrived on the island, he’s been in an immortal state where he cannot age or kill himself, though he can be killed by others. He is a smooth-talker, so he has that in his favor when in difficult situations, but Richard has shown that he suffers from depression and does have some suicidal tendencies (good thing he can’t kill himself).

For clarification on ‘not being able to kill himself’ that means that whatever he tries will fail, somehow. If he tries to shoot himself: the gun jams, in the show he references that if he were to light a stick of dynamite himself, it would go out before it actually reached the stick.

What items will they be bringing with them to Discedo? His wife’s cross, and his traveling pack.

    Posting Samples
Third-Person Sample: (This takes place shortly after his canon point. If this is a problem, I can supply a different sample.)

There was a flare that had been put into place a long time ago at the temple. It wasn’t supposed to be used except in one case: Jacob’s death. It was an alert, a message to send to all of those who knew what it meant and Richard could still see the dying red sparks of that flare falling from the sky. He felt cold as disbelief washed away everything else that he’d been feeling. The ‘meeting’ between ‘Locke’, Ben, and Jacob had been taking a long time but he knew better than to interfere when it came to these audiences between the chosen leader and Jacob; he was the middle man and, this time, he’d been cut out. Locke had taken Ben with him into the foot-statue and it had been hours; Richard didn’t even know what was going on. These situations didn’t happen often but when it did he was supposed to respect that. And now that flare which he hoped he’d never see had been used. Something had gone wrong.

Somehow, the people at the temple knew that only a few yards from Richard himself in that statue, Jacob lay dead and Richard hadn’t had a clue.

He couldn’t think. This was a scenario in theory not in practice, Jacob wasn’t supposed to die. He was immortal; a god. All Richard could do was stare at that impossible flare as his mind tried, frantically, to work out what this meant and what he was supposed to do now. Even as he heard murmurs behind him, alerting him to Ben and the-man-who-wasn’t-really-Locke’s return, and turned to face them he still couldn’t quite believe what was going on. Jacob’s plans and goals…the ones Richard was supposed to help carry out…everything that he had lived for….what was he supposed to do now?

    First-Person Sample:
[The video turns on to show Richard giving the network a considering look. He looks away for a moment, staring at nothing, until his gaze finally returns to the video.]

It’s interesting, to me, to see how many people seem to have lost faith. I don’t just mean in whatever religion they had before arriving here, but in everything; in each other, in themselves…

It’s like they’ve decided there’s nothing worth believing in except that bad things will happen.

Are times really so bad here, the punishments really so horrible that there is no reason for faith at all?

I find that hard to believe. There must be something you believe in, otherwise, there’d be no point in fighting and living.

    [personal profile] earplugs 2012-04-06 09:22 pm (UTC)(link)
    Personality:
As one of the Anarchy sisters, and as a fallen angel, you would imagine for Stocking to have a few faults and to have committed a few sins. Yes indeed she does. As the youngest of the Anarchy sisters, she represents the sin 'gluttony' and being the youngest well. Not only does she act like a child and want to be spoiled like one, she also tends to eat a lot, mostly sweets and the like. She spoils herself and only herself as much as she wants, and when things don't go as planned she throws tantrums. Also she does not enjoy her food being tampered with and spicy food except for Garterbelt's spicy curry and her sister's version of her favorite pudding which resulted in it being spicy. To add on to the whole being childish routine, Stocking enjoys cute things like her plush cat Honekiko, and dressing gothly but in her own way.

Most of the time, Stocking usually sticks to being calm, elegant and being careless. She usually does not care as to what is going on or about others. The only time she shows signs of caring is when it comes down to taking care of her things. Such as sharpening her weapons or keeping her room clean. Usually she'll make a mess of everything else, even Dante city. When she fights, she really doesn't care if she destroys the place. Yes its easy to say she only does things for her benefit like saving people and what not, but at times she does nice things for her sister like helping her choose men.

Another thing Stocking can be full of, other than sweets, is of herself. She feels that she is smarter than everyone else, better than everyone else, and prettier than everyone else. She won't say it out loud, directly or specifically, but she will show it by making movements or gestures. Yes she criticizes and judges everyone on everything they do, and call them flat out stupid whenever she feels like it, but she isn't so perfect herself either. She can be naive and pretty stupid; episode 7, the demon sisters were tricking them into losing money, and not only did Stocking not notice it was them, she also kept on betting her money carelessly.

However Stocking is very picky about the men she sleeps with and or dates, unlike her sister who just sleeps with anyone. It's because of her child-like personality, and her freaky fetishes. Because she enjoys things like bondage, whips, tentacle rape, and pain, Stocking wants to find a man to live with and be with who will fulfill that. Also because she is very naive she believes in finding true love, getting married and what not.

Being a child, Stocking easily gets mad, yells, throws tantrums, destroys things, for whatever may cause her anger. May it be someone insulting her and her sister, someone calling her fat or someone eating her sweets, or just a good old insult from the Demon sisters, Scanty and Kneesocks, Stocking will curse at the person, yell out windows, and just flat out use curse words as a replacement for every word. She will also try to attack the person, insult them back, and or just throw things at them and ignore them.

Stocking also does not have any self control what so ever. When she eats, she eats more than a normal person would, when she is trying to lose weight; it happened in episode 4, she will do nothing but run, eat nothing, and will go to the extreme. When things aren't working out for her, she will go into a food orgy and will not stop eating at all.

Even with all her vices, Stocking secretly loves her sister Panty and longs to go home to Heaven. She won't normally say it, but when she attacks ghosts, she says things like 'repent'. Also, even though her and her sister Panty fight a lot, to the point of blowing each other up, Stocking still loves her. Except when Panty eats her sweets. Then she hates her at the moment.

    [personal profile] magicalcupboard 2012-04-14 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
Personality: The real story begins when four children are sent away from London because of the air raids of 1940 but there are some minor things to note first. We’ll be focusing in on Edmund, the second to youngest. At this point in time he’s ten years old and is a very rude, very terrible little boy. His attitude’s taken a turn for the worse and in canon the prime suspect of this is his attendance of boarding school. He practically hates everything and everyone right now, but especially his older brother Peter, who’s also the oldest Pevensie child. During the bombings Edmund had made a mad dash back into the home to rescue a portrait of their father (a scholar drafted into the war) and Peter had ran in after him with the intent to bring him back to the bomb shelter. Of course, this wasn’t a bad thing (far from it!) but Edmund took this as a sign that Peter didn’t care for their father. At least, not enough to have him be in the shelter with the rest of the family (their mom and two sisters), and here begins a greater spite for his brother. Some days later the children of London are evacuated to the countryside. The Pevensies are given to the care of a strange-looking professor and his elderly housekeeper. Ed had to keep on pretending to blow his nose during their first meeting, thinking the Professor looked funny. He hoped to see some foxes at least, but even with such a large house to explore and lots of suits of armour to ogle at and think of ways to take apart, it was still maddeningly dull. He openly wonders if there will ever even be a home to go back to.

In England, it rains. A lot. And the children found themselves indoors for longer periods than they had expected. One day Lucy (the youngest) asked for a game of hide and seek. Now, this doesn't seem too exciting but it certainly was better than Susan's (the second oldest) dictionary games. Peter was It and he began counting to a hundred and the three others ran wild to find hiding spots. Edmund shoved Lucy out from behind some tapestry. Because, well, he "found" that hiding spot first. Not a second after Peter had finished his count came Lucy screaming and shouting down the hall- something about not missing her, she was alright, not to worry about how long she had been missing, ruining the game. She rattles off a tale about finding a magical land in the upstairs wardrobe. It was called "Narnia" and it was a beautiful forest, and there were fauns and it had been winter for hundred years now. Always winter but never Christmas. But it was beautiful and oh, she wanted the others to go see it too!

After thorough investigation of the wardrobe in question the other three find that there is, in fact, no Narnia. Edmund thinks it would be fun, though, to say he believes his dear little sister. I mean, hadn't he told the others about finding a football field in the bathroom cupboards? He begins to make it game to torture Lucy about her magical country. At every opportunity, he's making a jab at her sanity. At every mention of a forest, he laughs at Lucy's childish imagination. He does everything in his possibility to bully her. One night he decides to follow her and he makes his way into the spare room he had seen Lucy walk in to, and then he stalks into the wardrobe with the intention to scare her. Not finding her, he begins to walk farther in, and soon he feels the temperature getting colder and the fur coats are beginning to feel more prickly and then-

Edmund's in Narnia. Shocked, he begins to call out for Lucy and ask for her forgiveness. Not finding an answer he starts to explore the winter wonderland. He stumbles across a sleigh carrying a lady who introduces herself as the Queen of Narnia. She feeds Edmund enchanted treats and fills his head with promises of making him a king if only he could bring her his siblings. Edmund agrees to this quite eagerly (having been seduced by the magic treats) and they part ways. Lucy comes running up to him a few moments after, telling him about how great it was to see him there and how the faun Tumnus (who had greeted her on her first visit) was alright because the Witch hadn't found out about his helping her. After she explains that the Witch is pretending to be Queen, and that she really is a horrible person, Edmund begins to feel sick and he convinces Lucy to go back through the wardrobe with him.

Lucy wakes up Peter and Susan and begins to tell them enthusiastically about how Edmund had now been to Narnia too. When asked to verify this, Edmund does the worst thing he could to protect his pride- he lies and smugly explains how he was only playing along with Lucy's madness. His plan backfires though, and the older children are left scorning his spitefulness.

    AND THEN THIS HAPPENED.

TLDR; Edmund is a bully and a prat. But he's not such a bad guy! Honestly! He's only a little kid that needs more love and less war-torn family time and some sweets would be good too oh man they would be really good.

    Characters played at Discedo: N/A

    IC Information
    Name: Saguru Hakuba
    Canon: Detective Conan/Magic Kaito
Timeline: Following chapter 733 of Detective Conan and the newest releases of Magic Kaito (despite the fact that Hakuba is technically present in neither of those...)

Canon Resource Link: The White Knight

Personality: At first glance Hakuba is a very neat and meticulous individual. His dress is immaculate, his words and actions precise, and he values punctuality to an almost unholy degree. He finds emotions and human interaction messy and unreliable, perhaps due to his early introduction to the darker side of the human experience (he has, in time, been exposed to so many murders that his pet hawk Watson will recognize and immediately be drawn to the scent of human blood). As a result, he finds people and their motivations difficult to understand.

When he is first introduced in Magic Kaito he has a habit of asking the criminals he catches "Why do you do it?" Where other detectives in the series will use motive as a piece of the puzzle to solving a crime, Hakuba is forced to rely on other methods to find the answer. For this reason, Hakuba will rarely rely on instinct, more content to think things through fully before he acts.

Luckily for Hakuba, he tends to think very quick on his feet.

Hakuba is the practical sort, not at all taken to whimsy. When solving crimes he deals with the concrete evidence, things you can hold and touch, rather than immaterial things such as motives or emotions. He's methodical. Whatever task Hakuba sets himself to, he finishes, and finishes well, right, and proper.

He's determined and stubborn, but in a quiet, steady way that doesn't force his will onto others, rather, simply refuses to let others force their will upon him. He's not quick to change his mind about things, which can be both a detriment or aide him in his investigations, as he is not wont to be distracted and can parse information down to the tiniest detail; in one night, he was able to narrow down the identity of Kid by knowing his blood type, height, weight, and general age. Basically, he's a born researcher.

He is a highly intelligent, and has a deeply analytical mind. As a talented detective, Hakuba observes all the finite details of a case and manages to piece them together into a solution. His eyes rarely miss a thing even if, as is often the case in regards to the human element, he doesn't quite understand what the detail might mean.

However, all of this means that he can be rather fussy and worry too much over the details, if he lets himself. Hakuba has a bad tendency to obsess and an inclination towards perfectionism that means he is constantly overly critical and judgmental of himself. He always thinks that he can do better. When he surrounds himself with positive, supportive individuals like Aoko, however, he does much better. Due to his extensive studies in the realms of psychology and the like, Hakuba is all too aware of the weak points and usually he can spot and try and temper them himself. He's getting better at it every single day.

Powers & Abilities: Uh...none. Unless you count a brilliant investigative mind and the strange ability to keep exact time. Or, you know, if being pretentious and British is a power.

What items will they be bringing with them to Discedo? His grandfather's pocket watch, a pair of police issued handcuffs, and a small handgun (but with no extra ammo, besides what's already in the gun).

    Posting Samples
Third-Person Sample: Hakuba had heard about Chat Noir challenging Kaitou Kid from Aoko before the news ever hit the European periodicals. While Kaitou Kid had once been an international jewel thief on Interpol's radar, in the past year and a half since his rebirth he had stuck strictly to the greater Tokyo area in Japan (yet more evidence as to the real identity of Kaitou Kid, even if it was all strictly circumstantial) and as a result interest in him abroad had waned.

Aoko, on the other hand, was a veritable fountain of information in Hakuba's absence ever since he'd decided to take a short mental health holiday in Paris to clear his head over this whole Kaito thing. She kept him informed of the kids at their school - people who had barely bothered to get to know him beyond the superficial glamour of an exotic transfer student, and Kaito, of course. Of Kid trying to steal a clock tower, which wasn't terribly subtle on Kaito's part in his opinion but it was a nice gesture nonetheless so Hakuba wasn't going to call him out on it. And about that Shinichi Kudo fellow who had apparently grown bored with murders and decided to try his hand at a phantom thief.

(He'd already heard as much from her father, directly following the incident, after he'd called Hakuba up to rant and yell at him about upstart kids who poked their nose where it didn't belong, and Hakuba simply nodded along and made agreeable sounds at appropriate times and didn't have the heart to remind the detective that he was technically one such 'upstart kid'.)

So when she called him up that week to tell him all about the new thief that had thrown down the gauntlet to Kid, Hakuba was intrigued, and began to do some digging; he soon realized that there was far more going on underneath the surface. Hakuba sat in his hotel room with sheets of data splayed out in front of him and thought about Kaito, who knew French but liked to pretend that he didn't, who was a fair enough researcher when given the time and resources, but who wouldn't have any idea where the right places were to look this time around. He pulled out his phone and placed a call.

"It's been awhile." He said, smiling to himself when Kaito answered. "Are you still alive?"

    First-Person Sample: [Video]

[When the video feed switches on there is a faint, spider's web line across the center of the image, as if the lens of the camera itself is cracked.]

[Hakuba is looking slightly less put together than is his norm, hair askew and coat jacket bundled tightly around one of his hands, obscuring it completely from view. His shirt sleeves are rolled up to his elbows and the look he's giving the device could almost be considered bemused, under the circumstances.]

Somehow when the note said "use this", I don't imagine it meant as a blunt weapon. While I'm certain it's far too much to ask for the proper authorities to be called in this situation as that would rather contradict my being here in the first place, I don't suppose it could be too outrageous to request some sort of bandages or antiseptic, could it?

[He frowns slightly as a thought occurs to him and tightens the jacket around his hand a little bit more.] I'm not going to need some form of tetanus or rabies shot after being bitten by one of these... creatures, will I?

Canon Resource Link: Let me tell you about............... Homestuck. Also Terezi Pyrope.

Personality: Terezi’s personality can be broken down into a few main points:

    1) She’s a troll. She has seen some shit. And not seen, I guess. Basically, what you need to know is that Trolls sure are weird. No, they really are. Not even kidding. Being a troll means she is significantly more desensitized to violence than your typical 14 year old human and hey culture clash is awesome.

But she’s also a mega internet troll. One of the few successful ones out of all the trolls.

Each Troll has the ability to talk to any of the main characters during any point in their timeline. Some Trolls decide to troll all over the place, like Karkat with his crazyass Trolling-Backwards theme. But Terezi claims that Weird Time Stuff hurts her head-- she trolls in a very time-linear fashion.

When trolling John, she acts generally very sketchy and rude. Once he starts the game, at some point she convinces him to skip ahead, bypassing most of the Riddle Shit one is supposed to do, and to go fight the Denizen before it wakes up. This results in him dying, creating an alternate timeline where, after 4 months, Dave gets fed up and goes back in time, telling her to back off. She explains how she knew John wouldn't die, because she can see his whole timeline and she knew he didn't die there. BUT, she expresses guilt when she finds about the Weird Time Stuff, since the Dave from the doomed future is Incredibly Pissed.

She moves to Rose (who she declares is a "H4T3FR13ND"), but most of her interactions happen with Dave. Once they start the game, she becomes surprisingly helpful to him. In fact, their constant dorkiery causes Karkat to summon Dave and John into a chatroom and warn them to stop flirting. Enchanté. It doesn't work (surprise). Bullshit happens, and sometimes she helps Dave troll Karkat for the lulz. It is ridiculous and wonderful.

    2) She’s smart. She is obsessed with the law, and her room is covered in all sorts lawbook piles that she reads all the fucking time. Before SGRUB happened, she was determined to be a legislacerator, like her ancestor Redglare. A legislacerator is like a bounty hunter, lawyer, and executioner all in one. Best goal in life ever, and it means she is obsessed with justice.

The second point in her smartness favor is the fact that she’s also blind. Coming from a race that finds any and all reasons to cull the weak, the fact that she’s survived means she knows how to take care of herself, and she knows how to thrive. But that’s not all, because Terezi also grew up without a lusus. Lusi are basically massive monster parents that trolls have, and often times, if a child loses their lusus, they are either culled or don’t survive. In fact, in order to leave the caves where troll grubs face various trials as offspring, they almost need a lusus. (Un)fortunately, Terezi’s lusus is a dragon that hasn’t hatched by the time her story starts. So that means she raised herself, an already incredibly difficult feat, but also was blind.

Megumi Kitaniji | The World Ends With You | No Reserve

    [personal profile] balverine 2012-04-22 11:10 am (UTC)(link)
    Personality:
Megumi Kitaniji is (or actually was considering his point in canon) Conductor of the Reaper's Game of Shibuya. As such, he is second in command. He is head of the Reapers, however also the direct subordinate to the Composer. Much like the relationship between a composer and conductor in music, the Composer of the Underground creates the rules, plans, and orders, and the Conductor must give those orders to the Reapers and make sure they are followed. Such a role requires a strong presence, and that is something Kitaniji certainly possesses.

He is snakelike, sinister and cold. He is intelligent, manipulative, ruthless, and downright cruel at times. He will use anyone or anything and work it into his plans. Nothing is sacred and every life expendable. For example, he uses Shiki as an entry fee for Neku during the second week of the Game even though she'd won the Game. In reality reincarnating her was impossible in the Composer's absence, and so he uses her without even a second thought. Another example is his strategy with the Red Skull pins. He spreads the pins first to the RG, then to his own Reapers in order to defeat the Composer in their Game. Not only were numerous Reaper lives lost, but also the individuality of Shibuya's denizens temporarily.

All the while, he is able to keep his composure, almost always smiling calmly. He is level-headed, even when his Officers have gone maverick and break the rules of the Game. He is very patient with a "wait and see attitude" that makes him seem like a bit of a pushover or a pacifist, but he usually works the results into his own plans. He is a man who prefers to lead from the shadows, but will be confrontational if necessary, as he combats Neku on the last day of the game.

Though polite and formal towards Players and Reapers alike, he is quite an aloof and callous figure (if the latter wasn't obvious). He generally dislikes and distrusts people. According to the manga, as a child he was teased for having a girly name, something that apparently bothers him, but now he typically lets most insults and disrespect simply roll off his back. It is incredibly difficult to irritate him. While not overly malicious, he does still take some enjoyment out of messing with Players by taking their entry fees and watching them struggle.

There is one individual who meets the exception in his regards towards people and that is his superior. As he puts it himself, he is the loyal servant to the Composer and loyal he is indeed. To Kitaniji, the Composer is more like a god than a man. He goes so far as to use capitalized pronouns whenever he refers to the Composer. Basically, if he were to be compared to a born again Christian, then the Composer would be Jesus.

Nevertheless, Kitaniji isn't necessarily ~evil~. A well-intentioned extremist, he does everything in his power to save Shibuya. Again, the end justify the means. He loves Shibuya--it's streets, it's buildings, possibilities, and potential--and it is that love that drove him to the Game against Joshua and all of his actions within the game itself.

    Powers & Abilities:
Kitaniji is the former Conductor of Shibuya and head of the Reaper; his power only surpassed by the Composer and beings from the Higher Plane (like the angel Hanekoma). He has lesser versions of the powers held by his boss, such as the ability to take entry fees. However, it should be noted that the only thing he can't do is bring the dead back to life.

Like every Reaper, is able to 'tune' his frequency and travel between planes of existence; however, this is only limited to the Underground and the Realground. He can create Noise and strong invisible barriers. A powerful ESPer, he possesses passive telepathy. he can hear everyone within a wide range at once or focus in on particular individuals. It's not something he can turn off and on. He is capable of imprinting thoughts or ideas on individuals or on a mass scale via items as seen throughout week 3. Kitaniji has the ability to temporarily stop time. He can levitate, shoot energy blasts and lasers from his hands, turn his arms into tattooed dragon mouths.

And like high-ranking Reapers, he is capable of turning himself into Noise, which he uses for fighting. Kitaniji actually has two Noise forms: Anguis Cantus is his normal Noise form, and Draco Cantus, a massive 5 headed dragon, requires entrapping the Composer and incorporating his power.

What items will they be bringing with them to Discedo?
The clothes on his back, headphones, two pairs of sunglasses (one he's wearing and a spare), and a Red Skull Pin.
