This could be a ridiculous question, and it is possible I've missed the answer somewhere. But are pets allowed? What I mean by that is are there say stray dogs/cats that might be found and kept as pets.

If not, that's fine too. Helen just thought she might appreciate more constant companionship. She hates admitting it, but she isn't good at being entirely alone.
